Engine management light
The engine computer has logged a fault. It could be a sensor, a misfire, or a fuel or emissions problem. Flashing? Stop and call us. Steady? Book a diagnosis soon.
Diagnostics & warning lightsDPF warning
Your diesel particulate filter is filling with soot and can't clean itself. This is common with short journeys, or it can be caused by an EGR, sensor or injector fault. Left alone it leads to limp mode.
DPF problemsAdBlue / SCR fault
Low AdBlue or a fault in the AdBlue system. If there's a 'no start in X miles' countdown, get it checked now. When it reaches zero the engine may not restart.
AdBlue faultsABS / traction light
Anti-lock braking has switched itself off, usually because of a wheel speed sensor or wiring fault. Your normal brakes still work, but ABS won't help in an emergency stop.
ABS & brake warning lightsGlow plug light (on or flashing)
On a diesel, a coil light that stays on or flashes while driving points to a glow plug, sensor or engine fault, often with loss of power. Get it diagnosed.

The battery isn't being charged. It's usually the alternator, drive belt or wiring. You may only have minutes of power left. Get somewhere safe and call us.

Low oil pressure can wreck an engine fast. Stop as soon as it's safe, switch off and check the oil level. Don't keep driving on it. Call us.

Coolant leak, thermostat, water pump or fan. Pull over, switch off and let it cool. Never open the coolant cap while it's hot.
